One of the things I often hear from Listers and community members is some version of:
“I just need to talk this through with someone who understands how this world actually works.”
So, I’m introducing a new practice designed to help.
Lister Office Hours are short, one-on-one online sessions you can book directly through an online calendar. Each session is 25 minutes, designed to give you focused, human attention on whatever question or situation is top of mind—within the scope of the List, of course. There is no charge for this, so there will be some limitations on frequency.
This is not a presentation. There’s no agenda you need to prepare. Think of it as a practical conversation: a chance to sanity-check an idea, ask a question you’ve been carrying around, or get unstuck before something becomes a bigger problem.
People tend to use this kind of time for things like:
- talking through a decision
- clarifying next steps
- pressure-testing an idea
- asking questions they don’t quite know how to frame yet
You don’t need to know exactly what you want to ask in advance. You just need to show up.
Availability will vary, so rather than listing “office hours” here, all scheduling happens through the calendar itself. This link (or the QR code above) will always show current openings and allow you to book directly. Sessions can be booked up to 14 days in advance.
A gentle note on boundaries: these sessions are meant to be concise, focused conversations—not ongoing coaching or long-term project work. Sometimes one conversation is exactly what’s needed; sometimes it reveals that deeper work would be helpful. Either way, we’ll keep it clear and respectful of everyone’s time.
If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could just talk this through with Lauri for a few minutes,” this is for you.
Go take a look at the calendar, and grab a slot when it’s useful.
Talk soon!
