Group Coaching goes monthly

We started it last year, and our Group Coaching program has been a fascinating experience. I could throw a lot of marketing hype at you, but with the proliferation of “coaches” in today’s world, I’d rather paint a picture. What we do here is a little different:

Imagine 4 to 6 people in a Zoom room, with a guide. Each is in their own home space, comfortable and probably sipping a favorite beverage. No one has to dress up, although everyone is presentable and focused… even excited.

We have an hour and a half to talk about what you’re working on. It’s a different group each time (with some regulars), so talking about your project gives you a new chance to explain what it’s all about. You already have a lot in common, even if your skills and missions vary. You ask each other questions. There’s a lot of camaraderie and support in the air. The group is intrigued and engaged, and the energy is palpable. Possibility is with us.

This may seem like an ideal, but as our Group Coaching program has progressed, it has become the reality more often than not. Performing artists rarely get to talk about their projects in an environment that is designed for exactly that, and the problem-solving and brainstorming potential in a space like this makes it feel like the air is electric.

Schedule

We’ve experimented with single sessions and series, and have decided to continue with one group session each month: 3rd Saturdays from 10am to 11:30am.

The events for 2021 are laid out in the “Events” section of the new Lauri’s List website, and you can register right there. Members can even manage all of their event registrations through their profile. (We’re loving this new system!) Here’s a list of the group sessions currently available for reservations:

September 18, 2021 — 10am
October 16, 2021 — 10am
November 20, 2021 — 10am
December 18, 2021 — 10am

More options may be scheduled later, and special sessions or series can always be set up for groups.

Cost

This program was started for the specific purpose of creating access to support at a very reasonable rate. Sessions are $25 each for current members, and $35 for non-members. Payment is due at registration.

Signing up

Our event tickets are all managed right on the site! Attendance is strictly limited for each session, so we can make sure everyone gets a chance to take an active part in the discussion.
