I’m not a party animal — that gene just seems to be lacking in my double helix, and New Year’s Eve is one of the days where that is very obvious. I tend to relish small celebrations more than large, and the intimacy of sparklers and candles to massive fireworks displays. Smaller scale doesn’t have to sacrifice thunderous impact.
So while I thank those who invited me to parties and other shindigs this year, the fact that I get to spend New Year’s Eve and Day working on some new programs that can really help our Listers through the next decade is exciting indeed. The next few days will serve as a spark that will grow, and you have that potential, too. Find the matches — 2020 is going to be a fantastic year.
Happy New Year, gentlepeople!
