It’s been a big year, and we’re winding things up before summer with a schmooze at one of the Listers’ favorite watering holes: Islands Restaurant in Pasadena, just next to Arclight at Paseo Colorado. This place is known for creative burgers, fish tacos, fantastic fries and options for just about whatever diet you’re following.
How to schmooze
Bring your business cards, your questions, and any info you have about the projects you’re working on. It’s a casual hang rather than a high-pressure networking event, so we always have a great time, and it’s still a good way to expand your circles and get to know your colleagues.
NOTE: There are two Islands locations in Pasadena, so make sure you come to the one at Paseo Colorado, the shopping and entertainment center on Colorado Blvd, east of Marengo. Underground parking is available, and the Gold Line (Memorial Park Station) is just a few blocks away.
