Two events to expand your network

There are lots of ways to meet new people and build new relationships, for your career and for artistic inspiration.  Two proven, time-tested methods stay at the top of the list:

  1. Show up
  2. Learn skills

The more people see you, the more your name and your work will stick in their minds.  The stronger your skillset — whether it’s practicing your craft or promoting it — you’ll make better use of your time, get better results for your effort, and be able to make more informed decisions about what to do next.

So in February and March, the List has two events coming up that could work wonders together.  But in both cases, you need to sign up quickly, as they’ll fill up FAST.

February 18 — Composer Schmooze

Our first partner event with the LA chapter of the American Composers Forum (ACF-LA), this Saturday morning event is likely to be one of our biggest schmoozes yet, but space is limited.  We’re meeting at Heirloom Bakery in South Pasadena, just a half-block away from the Gold Line.  RSVPs are required — don’t miss this chance to connect with local composers, share ideas, and ask any questions you may have about unSUNg.  (Proposals are due at the end of the month!)
