New music flying high

One of the most unique chamber series in the Southland, Dilijan Chamber Music consistently offers high-quality performances and music not heard elsewhere.  This weekend, a single performance brings newness x3, with a full trio of world premieres, plus a little Mendelssohn for good measure.

Soprano Tony Arnold joins percussionist Kuniko Kato, the versatile Katisse Buckingham on saxophone, pianist Steven Vanhauwaert, and Dilijan violinist Movses Pogossian and Varty Manouelian for works by Ashot Kartalyan, Artashes Kartalyan and a piano trio by that guy named Felix.  Get yourselves to Zipper Hall on Sunday afternoon for this rare and varied treat.
