Do you dance? It’s surprising to hear from classical singers and instrumentalists how little time they spend dancing. A recent conversation may have shed some light, as one of our Listers explained, “We move a bit to the music we create, and the rest is in the mind. It’s just internalized.”
Okay, we might buy that. But one of SoCal’s most fascinating choral ensembles is taking it further in concert, presenting “Dance! Color and Light” on Saturday evening, with de Angelis Vocal Ensemble and an international program that will have you doing more than tapping. Selections include music by Lajos Bardos, Loreena Mckennitt, Ross Edwards and Greg Jaspers. Learn more here
