After two decades of singing, Hollywood Master Chorale has set a daunting task for themselves: to sum up all that time and all that repertoire in one concert of 20 songs. Director Dr. Lauren Buckley Schaer says in the ensemble’s press release, “This (our 20th Anniversary) is a huge milestone for any non-profit organization, and for HMC it is especially important because we are not only celebrating longevity, we are celebrating community.” With music by Morten Lauridsen, Nick Strimple, Stephen Paulus, and some guy named Mozart, it all sounds like cause for celebration.
The concert takes place at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 7, and tickets are available online or at the door.
Congrats to HMC on their first twenty years!
