Verdi gets fully feted in May

Don’t miss this month’s exhibit and lecture series at the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, celebrating the life and work of opera great Giuseppe Verdi.  The gallery exhibit features artwork from Rome Opera House, and various related events provide multiple ways to explore the composer’s lasting legacy.  The project is the result of collaboration by several organizations, including ICILA, Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles, the Verdi Chorus, Opera UCLA and the Department of Music at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, LA Grand Ensemble and Performing Arts LIVE.
